The service

PMUBook is a directory that helps clients find permanent makeup artists and lets artists claim and manage their profiles. PMUBook.com is owned and operated by Profile AI LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company, registered at 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE #5691, Albuquerque, NM 87110, USA. In these terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Profile AI LLC.

Listings & accuracy

Listings are compiled in part from publicly available sources and are provided “as is.” A listing is not an endorsement, and information (including ratings, prices, and availability) may be incomplete or out of date. Always confirm details directly with the artist. Nothing on PMUBook is medical or professional advice.

Artist accounts & claiming

To claim a listing you must verify that you own or are authorized to represent the business. You’re responsible for the accuracy of content you add and for keeping your account secure. Don’t claim a business that isn’t yours.

Subscriptions & billing

Claiming is offered as a subscription of $19/month, billed through our payment provider. It renews automatically until canceled. You can cancel at any time and your control of the profile continues to the end of the current billing period. If a subscription lapses, the claimed status and Verified Business badge may be removed.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the service - including scraping at scale, attempting to disrupt it, infringing others’ rights, or uploading unlawful or misleading content.

Intellectual property

Content you upload remains yours; you grant Profile AI LLC a license to display it as part of the service. The PMUBook name, brand, and site are owned by Profile AI LLC.

Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Profile AI LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and is not responsible for the conduct of any artist or client.

Removal & termination

You can request removal of a listing at any time - see Remove a listing. We may suspend or remove content or accounts that breach these terms.

Governing law & venue

These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or your use of the service, are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to the arbitration section below, you and Profile AI LLC agree that the state and federal courts located in Bernalillo County, New Mexico have exclusive jurisdiction and venue over any dispute that is not resolved by arbitration, and each of us consents to jurisdiction there.

Dispute resolution & arbitration

Please read this section carefully. It affects how disputes between you and Profile AI LLC are resolved, and it limits your ability to bring a claim in court or as part of a class action.

Talk to us first. Most issues can be sorted out quickly. Before starting a formal proceeding, email us at info@pmubook.com describing the problem and the resolution you want. If we cannot resolve it within 30 days, either of us may proceed as set out below.

Binding arbitration.Any dispute not resolved informally will be settled by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. The arbitration will be held in New Mexico, or, at your election, conducted remotely by telephone, video, or written submissions. The arbitrator’s decision is final and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Small claims. Either of us may instead bring an individual claim in a small claims court that has jurisdiction, and nothing here prevents either of us from seeking an injunction to stop unauthorized use or infringement of intellectual property.

No class actions.Disputes are brought on an individual basis only. You and Profile AI LLC each waive any right to bring or take part in a class, collective, or representative action, and an arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person’s claims.

Your right to opt out. You can opt out of this arbitration and class-waiver section within 30 days of first accepting these terms by emailing info@pmubook.com with the subject line “Arbitration opt-out” and your name and account email. Opting out will not affect any other part of these terms, and we will not treat you differently for doing so.

If any part of this section is found unenforceable, the rest of the section still applies, except that if the class-action waiver is found unenforceable, this entire arbitration section will not apply. This section does not apply where it is prohibited by law, and it does not remove any right you have to contact a government or regulatory body.
